This document is written to reasonably protect Ordiri and set clear expectations with users during alpha testing. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Before relying on it for a public launch with paying customers, have it reviewed by a qualified attorney.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using Ordiri, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of the service
Ordiri is a task management application with an automatic scheduling engine that reads your connected calendar(s) to find and defend open time for your tasks, subject to your daily approval before any change is made to your real calendar.
3. Alpha status
Ordiri is currently in an alpha testing phase, accessible only via an access code. During this phase:
- The product may contain bugs, incomplete features, or unexpected behavior.
- Features, pricing, and availability may change without extended notice.
- The service is provided on an as-is, as-available basis, with no uptime guarantee.
4. Your account
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must not share your alpha access code with anyone not authorized by us to use it.
5. Calendar integration — your responsibility
Ordiri's scheduling engine automates the finding and proposing of time for your tasks, but never writes to your real calendar without your explicit approval at each daily review step. Even so:
- You are responsible for reviewing proposed schedule changes before approving them.
- Ordiri is not responsible for missed appointments, scheduling conflicts, or other consequences resulting from your own approval of a proposed change, or from your calendar provider's (Google or Microsoft) own service issues.
- For anything time-critical or high-stakes, we recommend verifying your calendar directly with your provider, not relying solely on Ordiri.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or to our systems.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying source code or scheduling logic of the service.
- Share or resell your access to the service without our permission.
7. Intellectual property
Ordiri, its logo, and its underlying software are our property. Your task, project, and calendar data remain yours — using the service does not transfer ownership of your data to us.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, especially given its current alpha status.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ordiri and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to missed meetings, scheduling conflicts, or data loss.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, particularly during the alpha phase, with or without notice. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how).
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
